John 18: 15-18

Peter’s First Denial

15 Simon Peter and another disciple were following Jesus. Because this disciple was known to the high priest, he went with Jesus into the high priest’s courtyard, 16 but Peter had to wait outside at the door. The other disciple, who was known to the high priest, came back, spoke to the servant girl on duty there and brought Peter in.

17 “You aren’t one of this man’s disciples too, are you?” she asked Peter.

He replied, “I am not.”

18 It was cold, and the servants and officials stood around a fire they had made to keep warm. Peter also was standing with them, warming himself.

    1. So true Michele!!! So true!!!
One of them that tugs at my heart strings the most is on Facebook!! People send around those ” share of You love Jesus ” captions!! I am not savvy enough to know which ones send viruses and which ones are ok!! Or who sent us behind them!! I try really hard to not respond to any of those!!!
I have made it clear many times in my personal post how much I love Jesus and shared about my personal relationship with HIM!!! But everytime someone sends me those e-cards and I don’t respond, I question am I not standing up for HIM!!! I don’t think that is the case!! But it is still buggy!!

      1. Well, those ‘share if you love Jesus’ things….I ignore them completely. They are used for things I don’t understand either…viruses, spam…who knows.

The way I see it is this, that person sent it to me because they know I am a Christian. The things we need to share are our lives…our stories…our hearts…our time…like the people who share their time making food for others <3 I love you Boo.

AMEN!! Well said Michele, I ignore them too…

        2. My Precious Michele Belle, that really touched my heart!! It put tears in my eyes!! Thank You Belle!! You are such a Gift to me!!!💕💕💖💖

  1. I feel sorry for Peter, he has already humiliated himself in the garden and he must be so afraid in that place not knowing what will happen to Jesus and to himself if he admits he is His disciple. I think this is the beginning of uncertainty, doubts and the horror of losing his Savior. Their time has come and to look back and criticize any of them is unfair, soon enough they will show what they can do with the power of the Holy Spirit 🙂

    1. Paula I agree!! It had to have been so traumatic for all of them!! How afraid they must have all been!!! I believe that JESUS was not judging them, but felt deep compassion for them!!! Probably
JESUS’S heart hurt knowing the pain all of it was causing HIS dear friends!!! HE Loved them as HIS personal friends!! The torture they all went through in the NAME OF JESUS!! I admire all the disciples very much!! I would hope to be so brave!!! But I know it b.c. would only be through GOD’S Grace!!!
God Bless You!! I Love You Girls!!! Tomorrow is Sunday!!!🔴❌🔴❌🔴❌🔴❌🔴❌🔴❌💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

    2. Great point, Paula! The disciples help me know my human-ness all the time. I am so grateful for them.

  2. I recently updated my phone, since then b.c. and a few other random letter appear in my posts!! They don’t have any meaning!! I simply didn’t see them before I pushed send!!! I find it very frustrating!!! Just saying!!!
