Mills Springs Mill

The Mill Springs Mill water wheel was built in 1877 for the purpose of grinding corn and wheat. 

lt is in my hometown of Monticello KY. The water wheel is 30' X 40'. It is still in use today and is one of the largest overshot water wheels in the world. It is on the National Historic Site Registry..

I have enjoyed visiting this mill and the park that surrounds it since I was a little girl. I love the history of it. The building could use a coat of paint but i think it is still very regal.

In Matthew 24:41, this bible verse speaks of two women who will be found at a grinding mill during Jesus' second coming. One will be chosen. The other one will not. I want to be the one that lives with Jesus forever. I hope you do too.

Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left. Therefore be on the alert, because you do not know what day your Lord is coming!
