She taught in public school for more than a decade and completed another ten years in a private Christian school teaching literature, writing, and the arts. She spent eight years as a drama teacher and successfully produced more than a dozen plays. She survived twenty years as a youth minister. She has a Bachelor’s in Education and a Master’s in Divinity with a focus on writing and youth ministry.

Along with writing her memoir, Laura holds the office of President of San Diego Memoir Writers Association and is an active member of the International Women Writers Guild. She is also a member of San Diego Writers Ink and San Diego Writers and Editors Guild.

Nikki S. White is the heart behind “Just a Broken Believer," a Christian blog helping hesitant believers see God in everyday life, so they can grow in confidence and leave a legacy of faith for 1,000 generations.
